You will find a full score and four parts to Geometric Fragments NO. 4 - check your part assignment with the performers page to make sure you are downloading the correct part! For the 44-note cluster at rehearsal 14, each individual will be emailed an assigned pitch.
Since we have more EEb instruments than BBb, the parts are assigned as follows:
EEb Contra alto I : includes 1-12
EEb Contra alto II : includes 13-25
BBb Contrabass I : includes 1-10
BBb Contrabass II : includes 1-9
For the divisi section between rehearsals 12 & 13, follow the assigned notes as written! Contra alto parts that exceed the numbers shown, simply double the LOWEST note always. For the Contrabass parts that have fewer parts than shown, simply follow the given distribution (DO NOT CHANGE THE NUMBER OF PLAYERS PER PART). This will hopefully avoid confusion and will result in the lowest notes in this section having fewer players. THANKS!
